Tiaki

TIAKI is a cross-border cooperation project between Spain and France aimed at improving the quality of life of family caregivers, people with disabilities, and professionals in the health and social care sectors.

The project develops an advanced digital application that brings together care tutorials (physiotherapy, optometry and nutrition), organisational tools, community spaces and communication channels with the medical system. These tools are complemented by training processes, continuous evaluation and multimedia content tailored to users’ real needs.

TIAKI promotes social and technological innovation as a means to improve access to care, share medical knowledge and reduce the physical, emotional and organisational burden placed on caregivers.

Background

Population ageing, increasing dependency and limited access to specialised resources place family caregivers in particularly vulnerable situations. Many face high levels of stress, social isolation and difficulties accessing reliable information and professional support.

In this context, cross-border cooperation between Spain and France represents a key opportunity to share medical practices, care models and digital solutions, optimising resources and generating sustainable social impact.

TIAKI is submitted to the POCTEFA 2025 programme, the European cross-border cooperation programme between Spain and France, and builds on a strong background recognised through several awards and innovation support schemes in both countries.

If you are interested in participating in a project as a volunteer, do not hesitate to contact us and we will show you how to participate in one.

And if you are an organisation looking for volunteers, we can also provide you with people motivated and interested in enjoying these experiences.
